Give It Your All

Posted by in Conversation Starters, Family, Inspiration, Life Hacks, News

Ultimately we humans learn that service to others is how we feel connected, confident, and whole.

Yet, it is easy to give up or give in to the needs or plights of others and potentially lose ourselves in the process.

No matter who is asking, it will always be in your best interest to listen to your own intuition.

You can hear other’s out, but what you do is always your choice.

So, in service to life, I have devoted myself (since very young) to give every task I choose to take on, my all.

I appreciate that I learned this lesson early in life.

Love you all!

Have a great one!

The Crystal Movie – By Spirit Science

Posted by in Conversation Starters, Inspiration, Life Hacks, News, The Adaptive

Now, at first glance, you might be thinking… “Crystals?”, but don’t pre-judge anything before you check out this wonderfully informative video on crystals and how they can benefit many aspects of your life.

I am currently testing out all of the things they discuss in this short movie and I’ll let you know after a little more time how it’s going. (Honestly, so far so cool!)

I started using crystals just a few weeks ago because I stumbled upon great information that stated how beneficial they are to add to ones life. Crystal information seemed to be popping out everywhere. I’ve been making it a point to pay more attention to syncranicities that happen around me.

My sister was on the crystal train already and doing her own in-depth research which has proved to be very rewarding to her life.

Enjoy this easy to digest video!

Do you own any crystals?

I’ve heard that crystals go where they are needed.

Tell us a story of how you came to hold your crystals.

Looking forward to your comments!

Review Goals Regularly

Posted by in Conversation Starters, Family, Inspiration, Life Hacks, News

I’ve been saying, for a few years now, that “This is the year! This is when all of our hard work rewards us with our goals!”

But the truth is, I know better.

As much as I want to be able to dictate when and where success will come, I know that luxury doesn’t happen on demand.

I dream of being on my future-farm, able to sit in my office and get a few hours of un-interrupted writing done during daylight hours. That’s just not in the cards every day and that’s ok. Everyone deserves positive attention and guidance and I’m there for my children in that way.

Since the new year, I have been practicing many new practices. One of which is learning how to manifest things using the power of positive thinking and using high vibrational frequencies to see if goals can be reached sooner. I’ll write more on this later, as today I’m just revisiting how well these manifesting practices are affecting my current life and situation. I will write whether or not they work at a later date.

So, as much as I want to be an accomplished blogger, I recognize and realize that I will design, write blog posts, and books as much as I can until it opens up to do so more often.

After all, I am working on enjoying my children’s childhood, too!

So, I am currently renouncing my stubborn ways and deciding to appreciate every moment I do get to work on what I want, when I want because, after all, that is my ultimate goal. To be able to do whatever I want when I want and I want that for everyone (as long as what you want does no harm to anyone or anything: )

Don’t worry! That usually means that I want to help those around me in any way I can without a negative impact.

My children might interrupt me every few minutes on some days, but as they get older, they interrupt less and less, and I can sense and see that they really are doing well and becoming wonderful little human beings.

We all enjoy excitedly talking about the entire family’s goals before bed each night and the family’s goals are great to discuss with the whole family, not just mom and dad deciding for the entire family, though there are times that is necessary, but not when you’re talking about goals.

To let everyone speak up a bit about what they’re excited about in life is how we all start to connect or re-connect and connections are important your whole life, so why not cultivate an amazing relationship with your children from the start.

Don’t get me wrong, bedtime still takes me way too long with three kids when I’m going solo, but the harder I have to work at life by myself, I get this sense that it’s adding something to a metaphorical piggy bank that will pay back in the future.

That’s all for now. Have an awesome day!

Happy New Year!

Posted by in Family, News

Hello 2017,

I am so excited for the year ahead. We have big plans this year and look forward to sharing it with you all. Some of those plans include continuing to build this site and its content. That will be my most challenging aspect of the year, incorporating more working (blogging) into my already long work(momming) day. When you’re a mother of three kids, especially high intensity boys, then you’ve got to get your goals and get going, otherwise someone grabs you and sends you on their mission they have for you. (Love you boys…) I’ve come up with the ideas for the pages and I really want to know what you think. This is something I’ve wanted to do for years. I was a blogger a few years back and really enjoyed it, but my kids were so young and life outside blogging got too demanding to keep track of.

If you don’t know what it’s like to have kids, let alone, 3 boys, let me give you a little insight. I wake up each morning around 5:30-6 a.m., excited for the day ahead, I ponder to myself… “How long do I have before anyone else wakes up?” about that time my youngest, Aiden, wakes up. Everyday. After about an hour of just mommy and Aiden, my other 2 wake up and then it’s the breakfast dash. I closely relate it to Parana’s feeding if we’re having cereal, but if we’re going with “Egg and a Hogle” then it’s a whole different adventure. It’s more like the seagull’s from Finding Nemo “Mine. Mine. Mine.” Not to give the impression that they don’t share well, but they definitely are competitive at times. After breakfast we try to discuss our goals to accomplish for that week or that day. This is another big goal for 2017. Really focusing on working goals that have tangible rewards. It’s been 10 years since my first pregnancy and 6 years since my last. I have fully potty trained kids, which is HUGE! and now I finally feel like my days are becoming my own. When I’m in the thick of momming and my days are not my own it feels like I’ve stepped outside my mind and I put my body on loan to the little souls that need it for all their own needs. When I just had my first son, i didn’t understand how easy I had it. Then I had my second son and thought, hey this is a piece of cake, I’ll have another. I thought it would be a girl, but hey, I love all my boys and couldn’t imagine my days without them. What i didn’t realize was what I was really getting myself into. I thought that I just had to be there and that would be enough, but if you want to be successful at momming then you need to look at the BIG picture and if you look at it enough like I did you see that if you can’t afford all the luxuries and intricacies that being wealthy and having your own version of a helpful tribe would, then it all falls on whoever is taking care of your children. And for me, that’s me and my family. It used to only be me and my husband, then it was just me, and in the past few years everyone has been slowly coming around, realizing “Hey, you’ve got something amazing here.” If I’m grocery shopping, I buy all organic local ingredients. I’m a co-owner at the local CO-OP and try to make almost everything from scratch. I’m a soft believer in the 80/20 rules in life. I don’t believe anything too strongly because the opposite of crazy is crazy, and I’m really into healing the whole body and soul, but I don’t walk around preaching smelling like patchouli (…not because I don’t like it, but I don’t, lol, and I don’t want to smell like it, no offense to anyone who enjoys it 😉

This year I plan to share how I make this confusing jigsaw puzzle of life make a little bit more sense to me. I have shortened healing time when my children suffer from illnesses, regrown enamel and gums, cured my own autoimmune/thyroid disorder I was suffering from due to depression, working on healing my torn rotator-cuff with collagen, making my own homemade beauty products and tips, sharing great unique family recipes, and anything else that pops up that seems worthy of sharing.

Thank you for reading and have a wonderful 2017!

-Holly
